Advocacy

There are two ways you can lose the privilege to sell alcoholic beverages:  violate the laws under which the license was issued or have that licensed revoked because the license has changed. It can happen without a strong national or state association to fight for your rights.  NLBA exists to protect Nebraska’s licensed beverage retailers.

Education

Through the NLBA newsletter and legislative updates, NLBA places strong emphasis on educating its members on current legislation and happenings at the state level.

Community

There is no question that individual licensed beverage dealers must work together through an association to accomplish common goals. Joined together, licensed beverage retailers can maintain an effective voice in the Legislature and other regulatory bodies. Get to know your colleagues and band together to protect your businesses.
